From Now On

My goal is to keep my blog updated so that family and friends can keep an eye on what we have been up too. This is what has been happening lately...

Little Jesse is playing for a u-13 select soccer team he absolutely loves it and I don't blame him because he is a darn good player. So this means that we are driving to a different spot in Eastern Washington every weekend for games. Watching the boys play and grow as a team is amazing and fun, not to mention entertaining (it's incredible the things that come out of the mouths of 12 and 13 year olds). Despite all of the fun we have been having being a little traveling soccer family, we are excited for a little break. His last game for fall is Novemeber 6th in Pullman (brrr...)

Speaking of Little Jesse...he turned 13 last month! Yes, we have a teenager now. He is the sweetest, most adorable, cutest and funniest teenager I have ever met. But, I may be a little bias. :D

(Cheesecake Factory in Seattle for Little's Birthday, his best friend Jakob joined us for the trip)

I am in the process of applying for the education program at WSU Tri-Cities. My applications are in, my admissions paper turned out well, and I had a interview with two of the programs advisors...all I have left to wait on is my WEST-B test which I take in Walla-Walla the second weekend in November and for WSU to recieve the official transcripts from my previous schools. Everyone please cross your fingers and pray for me!

Jesse and I barely have time to see each other lately, let alone spend quality time together. He is very busy at work and I have been working every week night, (except for tuesday because I have soccer practice duty that day) so that I can have weekends off. He usually is on his way home when I am on my way to work so that leaves 2 days a week that I get to see him if you do not count me seeing him sleeping when I get home from work at 1 am. My point; I miss him and I will whine about it if I want too.

I scheduled to have family pictures taken of Jesse, Little, and I in November. I am very excited that I finally found a photographer whom is both very talented and seems like a blast to work with. (Here is his website if you want to check out his work. http://darinwarnick.com/ )I cannot wait to have our pictures done and if you read my post from nearly a year ago, you should be able to understand my excitement. Most of our pictures turn out with my smiling, Jesse looking like he hates everything and I have to tickle Little to get him to smile for a picture so he usually looks cheesy. I think the boys will give Darin a run for his money. I just hope this nasty fall weather calms down a little bit by then.

The holidays are creeping upon us very quickly and I can barely contain my excitement. Now if I can just wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas, that will be a challenge.
That is it for now...stay tuned.
(Have a safe and Happy Halloween!)
